The Prime Minister Hon. Hu’akavameiliku announced a total of TOP$22 million (Tongan Pa’anga) in financial assistance to businesses, informal sectors, and members of the public in response to the current COVID-19 lockdowns.

Lockdown extends for another week with 335 news cases record today, March 25th.
THE Prime Minister today announced the lockdown will extended for another week, effective on Sunday, 5:00am March 27 until next Saturday April 2.
The lockdown is only for Tongatapu and Vava'u.
Tonga records over 4500 covid positive cases including 3 babies under one month
THE Ministry of Health has recorded a total of over 4537 Covid positive cases including three babies under one month.
