The Interim Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga, Rt. Hon. Lord Tangi, has confirmed that the meeting of the Elected Representatives to elect the Prime Minister is to be held on Wednesday 15 December 2021, 10am at the Legislative Assembly of Tonga.
His Majesty King Tupou VI has appointed Rt. Hon. Lord Tangi as the Interim Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga, effective from Saturday 20 November 2021.
