THE Legislative Assembly of Tonga will reconvene Monday, January 30 for its final sitting of 2016-2017 parliamentary session.
On the Agenda, will be business as usual which include, bills, pending business from the previous sitting, government department’s annual report and constituency visit report.
The House will also discuss issues relating to Tonga’s effort to host the Pacific Games 2019.
It is also anticipated the Cabinet will update Parliament on referral matters pending for Executive decision and action.
Parliament’s last sitting was in October last year before parliamentarians went on their Christmas and New Year’s holiday.
