THE Legislative Assembly has approved for this year’s parliamentary constituency visit to commence on July 10.
It will run until July 21.
Parliament approves the proposed schedule this morning.
This year’s visit is a follow up of the 2015 program where MPs meet with their respective electorates to consider their urgent needs that impact their daily lives.
Most of these pressing needs include improving water system, power electricity and road maintenance among others.
There was no official Parliamentary Constituency Visit last year but some members conducted their own constituency Visit.
The parliamentary visit is an opportunity for local residents to voice their concerns on issues that affected their lives.
Following this year’s program, MPs are to table a report for consideration and action by Parliament.
