In His speech from the Throne delivered via livestream feed, His Majesty reiterated Parliament’s core roles, and the need for MPs to focus on addressing the pressing issues affecting the country. These include health-related issues, the devastating effects of illicit drugs, education, good governance, and our local economy.
The report delivered by Lord Speaker Fakafanua to the King on September 1, details the number of laws, regulations and reports passed in Parliament; which were discussed under the five main issues the King had highlighted.
