The Legislative Assembly will resume sitting on 7 September, 2020.

The adjournment is due to a request from the Prime Minister to allow more time for the Legislations Committee to complete their work on the current government Bills.

At the same time, government is finalizing work on government Bills that they expect to table in Parliament before the sitting on the seventh.

Meanwhile, Members of Parliament (MPs) will begin their annual constituency visits on 17 August.

This will be an opportunity for the MPs to meet with their constituencies to hear their concerns and discuss matters of interest to the people.
