Today, the Legislative Assembly paid tribute to commemorate the life and service of Nurse Samiuela Mafi, who tragically passed away days after he was attacked at Hu'atolitoli prison. Recognizing his unwavering dedication and compassionate care towards inmates and colleagues alike, lawmakers stood united in honoring his memory.
Prime Minister, Hon. Siaosi Sovaleni asked the Speaker to also include Mr. Poasi Ngaluafe, Deputy director of Fisheries who passed away while attending a meeting overseas.
Lord Fakafanua extends heartfelt condolences to Mr. Samiuela Mafi’s wife Loisi and their two children.
